The 3 Leather Straps Cushioned Sandals are the model with the most coverage and fit in Alicouro’s cushioned line. The three parallel smooth leather straps allow each area of the instep to be adjusted independently — ideal for wider, narrower feet or those with irregular volume that rarely find comfort in standard footwear.
The rectangular silver metal buckles give them a more elegant finish than the gold buckle models, making them suitable both for casual everyday wear and for more dressy occasions — terrace, city or a night out.
Cushioned natural cork insole
The insole combines natural cork with high-density foam. The cork progressively molds to the shape of your foot over the first few weeks — it’s normal to feel some initial firmness which diminishes with use. The anatomical support that develops over time is the main distinguishing feature of these sandals compared to alternatives with a synthetic insole.
Smooth vegetable-tanned leather
Both versions — White and Brown — are made from smooth genuine vegetable-tanned leather. Smooth leather is more resistant to moisture than suede, easier to clean, and develops a natural patina with use that improves its appearance over time.

A note on sizing
Due to the anatomical design of the insole, the feet must sit completely within the footbed edges. We recommend sizing up from your usual size. If unsure, consult our Size Guide — we offer free exchanges within 30 days for mainland Portugal.
Smooth leather care
- Clean regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth
- Apply our Alicouro Leather Conditioner every 3 to 4 weeks to nourish and maintain the leather’s suppleness
- White version: use only colorless products — any pigmented product can irreversibly alter the color. Remove stains immediately with a damp cloth before they dry
- Store in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight — prolonged sun exposure can yellow white leather
