The Litore Cushioned Sandals are Alicouro’s anatomical model, designed for those looking for long-lasting comfort without sacrificing a polished look. The two genuine suede straps with aged metal buckles allow a precise fit across the instep and ankle, adapting to narrower or wider feet without losing their shape.
Cushioned natural cork insole
The insole combines a natural cork base with an intermediate layer of high-density foam. The cork progressively molds to the shape of your foot over the first few weeks of use – it’s normal to feel some initial firmness, which decreases as the insole adapts. The result is a personalized fit that no synthetic material can replicate.
Genuine vegetable-tanned suede
The Sand, Hazelnut and Taupe versions are made from genuine suede – fine-grained bovine leather treated on the flesh side to achieve the characteristic velvety texture. They are a naturally breathable material, softer to the touch than smooth leather, and develop a subtle patina with use. The Black and Chocolate versions are made from smooth vegetable-tanned leather.
A note on sizing
Due to the anatomical design of the insole, the feet must sit completely within the footbed edges. We recommend sizing up from your usual size. If unsure, consult our Size Guide or contact us before ordering, we offer free exchanges within 30 days for mainland Portugal.
Suede care
Suede is more sensitive to water and stains than smooth leather. To maintain their original look:
- Use a dry suede brush to remove dust and restore the nap
- If staining occurs, treat immediately with a dry cloth — never a wet one
- Apply a suede-specific waterproofing spray at the start of each season
- Store in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight
